The N&O is reporting that NC State commits Robert Crisp and Pete Singer enrolled at Athens Drive High School on Monday, August 10th. The two had transferred earlier this summer to Cedar Ridge, but apparently they will be suiting up for the Jaguars this year. Jeff Smouse, the head coach at Athens Drive spoke with the N&O and he had this to say about the addition of the duo:
"They would have enrolled on Friday, but our guidance department couldn't take them on Friday," Smouse said. "We're set to go now."
"Rob is the biggest player I've ever coached and one of the biggest I've ever seen," Smouse said. "Usually these 6-8 players are really a little over 6-5, but Rob is huge. Both of them seem to be nice guys."
"Obviously, I'm excited to add two players of this quality," Smouse said. "I was talking with the coaches the other day, saying how much we needed another offensive lineman, then all of sudden one walks in.
"I don't pay any attention to the recruiting web sites so I didn't know anything about either one of these guys, but I understand they are both great players."
The article also reports that the two will not be able to play in Athen Drive's against Cardinal Gibbons and West Johnston on Friday, but they should be ready to go in accordance with NCHSAA regulations for the season opener against Sanderson on August 21st.

Good info WPP!
I know this site hasn't gotten as much recognition as WPH yet, but the info you guys are getting out to us is great. Thanks again.
Thanks Spierce,
We'd really appreciate it if you'd help spread the word. Thank you for the support and we'll keep doing what we do.
Athens is much closer to my house then Chapel Hill and the away games are all around my hood as well. Excited to catch these games in person.
Glad to hear the main reason for the move was so that they can enroll after Xmas and get some experience under their belt before the freshman season. I fully expect Singer to be redshirted and taken through the system like every other freshman but I somehow expect Crisp to beable to push for a starting job somewhere. If the coaching staff can help him learn the position quick, 6'8"-330 is a real man who can put a hurtn on some def linemen. And Jose you hit it on the head... I live closer to Athens than Chapel Hill so I will be able to catch a game to two this year to see the massive man himself!!!
