Having Vermiglio out might actually be a "good" thing (relatively speaking) because now we can get the backups some playing time and maybe try out some different O-line combos to try and figure something out there
Off topic, but football related. Anyone else notice how Fast Willie Parker snubbed the tarholes in the introductions? Instead of saying UNC, he said, "Clinton High School."
Eric I def saw that and laughed my head off!!! Imean I would have my college too if they never played me but I was good enough to be drafted, become a starter, then win a Super Bowl ring!!!! One of the few good players UNX has had in the last 10 years and he doesnt even acknowledge them...
Parker has always done that, I don't know if he ever acknowledged that he was from unc. Evevn if you're not a Steeler fan, you just gotta love the guy for that!
Where is Sam Jones in all of this? Trying not to burn his shirt, I guess? Jake and JE being out will allow some others to gain valuable experience and we get to see what the young guys can do. Washington looked strong last week. Get well soon guys.
I wonder if any other freshmen will see PT this week. I would like to see some of the redshirt FR get some time...guys like Brandon Barnes. Of course, I am excited to see some more of Washignton, too.
Definitely don't like seeing guys miss time, especially on the OL. But as long as we win I will be happy that the young guys got some experience. Looking forward to seeing more of Washington.
