Pep Rally Scheduled for Wednesday Evening‏

The NC State Alumni Association is sponsoring a pep rally on Wednesday evening.

When: Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, at 7 p.m.

Where: Harris Field, at the intersection of Dan Allen Drive and Cates Avenue, NC State Campus (Visitors can park in the Dan Allen Parking Deck)

NC State students and fans will launch the 2009 football season with a pep rally on Wednesday, the night before the Wolfpack’s opening game against the South Carolina Gamecocks. Special guests and speakers will be Head Football Coach Tom O’Brien and members of his 2009 team. O’Brien will be introduced by Dick DeAngelis ’58, a lineman on the 1957 team that beat USC 29-26 to lock up NC State’s first ACC football title and a 7-1-2 season.
