Creecy has 299 receiving yards and 3 TD's on the season.
Pete Singer (S, WR) - While Pete Singer is mostly known for what he does on the defensive side of the ball, projected as a Safety at the college level, it was his ability as a receiver that gave Athens Drive (4-2) a 26-25 win over Lee County. Singer caught two catches for 19 yards. Both receptions were reeled in for touchdowns, with his 10-yard touchdown reception in the 4th quarter sealing the deal. Singer has 6 receptions for 48 yards on the season. Video.
D.J. Green (S) - Westside improved to 6-0 this season on Friday defeating Lee County 56-22. Lee County's 22 points is the most scored on the Westside defense all season long, with the previous high being 7 points. D.J. Green came into Friday's night game with 22 tackles, 2 interceptions, 3 pass breakups, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery. After the victory, D.J. added two more interceptions to his total bringing him to 4 on the season.
Tyler Brosius (QB) - On the same night that Tyler Brosius made his commitment to NC State official, he also led Tuscola (4-1-1) over Brevard 31-14. He threw for 130 yards in the game and accounted for 2 touchdowns, 1 in the air and 1 on the ground. The Mountaineers are 4-1-1.
Brosius has thrown for 1,171 yards, 12 TD's and 5 interceptions through 6 games.
Fre-Shad Hunter (DL) - Cary improved to 4-3 on the year defeating Green Hope 40-25. While no stats were available for Hunter specifically, the Cary High School defense held Green Hope to 91 yards rushing.
Logan Winkles (FB) - Upson-Lee (1-4) continued to struggle losing this past Friday to Hardaway 38-6. They have lost 4 straight games since winning the season opener.
Thomas Teal (DT) - Thomas Teal and his Marlboro County (6-0) crew put on quite a show on Friday, defeating Darlington 40-0. Teal has helped lead the Bulldogs to three straight shutouts.
Torian Box (OT) - North Clayton (6-0) beat Forest Park 35-6.
A.J. Ferguson (DL) and Tyson Chandler (OL) - Fork Union (3-2) beat WVU (JV) 6-2.

11 Responses to "NC State Commits: Week 7 Recap"I don't know exactly why, but I've got this strange real good feeling about Tyler Brosius.
I've got the same feeling about Tony Creecy, but I know why on that one!
Primacyone I couldnt agree more!!!
Its great to see Creecy finally able to put up some good #s this week after a slow start!! I have heard he could be a "do it all" kind of guy at state so this really excites me!!
The fact that Athens is using Singer as a WR as well pleases me because even though hes projected as Saftey, having good hands can be extremly important. Although underrated, he could prove to be very reliable later down the road once his knowledge of the game increases.
DJ Green continues to put up LUDICRIS stats this year, and he really gets me pumped for our safteys in the future. 4 ints shows the ability to make big plays, and being a captain on an awsome team is something to be said for his character!!!
Teal could be a dark horse noone really talks about but could really learn under cash next year to become an elite DT (Hell his team is destroying EVERYONE, hes gotta play a big part in that!!)
This is waaaay off topic but, did you know that it really is OK to boo at a college football game, that you're not actually booing at any kid in particular when you do, and that all of the booing is focused at the university and coaches who deserve to be booed when they continually put an inferior product out on the FB field?
I guess that's the N&O's NEW stance and their NEW defense of booing, since that booing is so undeniable and taking place in chapel hill?
^ Did they really put out an article on that?
Teal won't learn under Cash as he is a senior. Looking forward to getting these TOB recruits on campus, put through the S&C program, educated on our playbooks, and put to the fire. We've got some BIG DTs coming in the next couple years. Randolph and Teal are both 325+.
Yes the N&O (Nuisance & Disturber) did write that in their article...
Ive given up on them along time ago but I find it humerous not but a few years ago the same paper was very critical of NC State fans/alumi when Chuck was boo'd. Yet apparently its ok if its in cry baby blue land....
The N&O & UNX can live together in ignorant bliss for all I care...
Alum02 your totally right I forgot Cash was a senior... Maybe Lemon can be a good role model next year for these young yet HUGE DT...
Sorry forgot the link...

ok im done
I like it when the N&O prints articles about the UNC fans booing. That's publicity you can't put a price tag on. Keep it up N&O.
If anyone could find a link to the story about how we booed Daniel Evans, that would be a thing of beauty.
It would perfectly illustrate the bias on the part of the N&O.
Just checking back, and ^TruthBKnown, I did try to go back and retrieve those N&O stories about the booing in C-F on the same day that I made mention of their NEW attitudes and their NEW acceptance of any and all booing. Which was of course basically brought because they know that they cannot deny that the same thing happened involving their beloved powder blue, tree hugging flower children over in chapel hill.
But, and believe it or not, those stories involving the the tongue lashings that they freely doled out, about that shameful booing that once occurred in Raleigh are somehow...no longer accessible. At least, I can't seem to access those articles in any standard manner anyway.
Coincidence? I think not.
