"4. NC State (3-1, LW: No. 8): The gritty win over Pittsburgh revealed that NC State is a more complete team than it looked after season opener, and anyone who’s been paying attention to South Carolina can see that loss wasn’t so bad after all. Now, on a three-game winning streak, the Pack have to continue that momentum at Wake Forest this week."

Couldn't we make a case that Miami and Georgia Tech have both been WAY over-hyped after beating teams that are turning out to be 'not that great?' The problem was the Clemson was getting false props before GT beat them (and I still don't know why), and FSU was getting false props before Miami beat them. So, GT and Miami must be good, huh? Nope. Also, MAYBE Carolina isn't as good as they have been given credit for, either. They certainly aren't a disciplined team. And their O-line is like Swiss cheese, their receiving core is really inexperienced and TJ Yates is no Tim Tebow. To add, if their Defense (as much as they have been hyped) could play assignment football, they would have beaten Georgia Tech on Saturday.
The ACC is shaping up to be the same way it has been for the past few years. Everyone beats everyone, and the teams with 1, 2 or 3 losses could end up in the ACCCG. Virginia Tech may stand above the rest in the Coastal, but we'll get our shot at those guys this year, at least once.
Don't get me wrong, I love it. that means anyone has a shot. It means, 'Why not us?' It means that the season will be much more interesting until the end. Hopefully we can carry this momentum through our ACC schedule. If we can, we have just as good of a chance to get to that ACC Championship Game as anyone else in our Division.
Go State!
