We are very sad to report that former NC State running back Andre Brown ruptured his left Achilles tendon jumping for a pass from David Carr in the back of the end zone today. Brown is scheduled to have surgery on Tuesday, and will miss the entirety of the '09 season. This comes as a huge blow to Andre, who just signed a 4-year contract this week. We at WPP wish Andre a quick and healthy recovery.

3 Responses to "Giants Lose Brown For '09"Wow... Really sorry to hear this. I was looking forward to seeing Andre out there for the Giants. Hopefully he'll have a speedy recovery. Good luck Andre!
Ya thats too bad. I was hoping he was going to have a great season. I even picked him as a sleeper in my fantasy football draft. I hope he gets back to 100% and has a great year next year.
Terrible. Andre got his contract signed though, thank God.
I was excited to have DVR'd his preseason games through my newly acquired NFL Network, and their repeating every preseason game.
I was able to watch Philip this morning, while my toddler was eating her breakfast! I love technology.
Prayers to Andre for a quick and full recovery.
Go Pack!
